Ledger responds to user fund theft: involves Southeast Asian distributor CryptoBillis.

PANews October 9 news: Ledger Support posted on X platform that it is investigating reports of stolen funds from users in Southeast Asia who purchased devices from reseller CryptoBillis, and has requested that it suspend all Ledger device sales and shipments. Ledger advises users who purchased devices from this reseller within the past 90 days not to set them up if they have not been initialized; if they have already been set up, they should transfer assets to a new device using a new mnemonic phrase. Analyst Specter previously said related losses may exceed $86 million.
