CZ clarified that he did not "use money" to threaten Musk, emphasizing that holding SPCX shares was only to demonstrate sufficient funds.

PANews October 31 news: Binance founder CZ tweeted a clarification regarding previous interpretations of his statement about Musk as a "threat using money." CZ stated that the other party was overinterpreting, and that he mentioned holding SPCX shares only because someone in the relevant discussion used FTX as a comparison, possibly implying that Binance was underfunded, which is not the case. He merely wanted to explain that Binance holds assets other than cryptocurrencies, and in an area familiar to Musk.

CZ emphasized: "I never threaten others. This is one of the core principles I also wrote about in my book." He also pointed out that Binance's shareholding is merely "a drop in the ocean" to them and cannot constitute a threat at all. He also believes that SPCX will be one of the high-quality stocks held for the long term.
