Shenzhen Economic Crime Investigation: Beware of "RWA Real Estate Tokenization" and "Blockchain Evidence Storage" Scams

PANews, October 19 news: The Economic Crime Investigation Bureau of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau has issued a notice reminding the public to beware of new types of scams packaged as "RWA real estate tokenization" and "blockchain evidence storage." The Economic Crime Investigation Bureau pointed out that technical terminology ≠ trust endorsement. Technical practitioners can easily mistake "technically verifiable" for "compliant and legally sound project." Lawbreakers infiltrate technical communities and disguise themselves as seasoned industry professionals, leveraging circle trust to lower others' vigilance. In addition, contract addresses and company registration numbers only prove that the code exists and the entity has been registered; they neither indicate that the underlying assets actually exist, nor do they indicate possession of financial business qualifications.
