Analyst: Bitcoin MVRV indicator drops to 25.7%, market enters transitional accumulation phase

PANews October 18 news: Crypto analyst Darkfost posted that Bitcoin encountered resistance and pulled back near $87,000, and the MVRV indicator has fallen back below the 30th percentile (currently 25.7%), marking its re-entry into a transitional phase after experiencing a capitulation-style sell-off. The chart does not show the raw MVRV indicator (market cap/realized cap) alone, but rather places the current MVRV within its historical distribution for observation, to better reflect the market cycle context. As MVRV falls below the 30th percentile, Bitcoin has entered a range in which it has spent only about 25% of its history in terms of valuation levels. Although it has moved out of the "extremely undervalued" range that typically corresponds to market bottoms, the current zone still exhibits the characteristics of an "accumulation zone."
