Arthur Hayes: Bitcoin's quantum risk is known and manageable, and is not a reason to sell.

PANews October 17 news, according to Benzinga's report on an interview with The Rollup, BitMEX co-founder and Maelstrom Chief Investment Officer Arthur Hayes believes that concerns about quantum computing surrounding Bitcoin's cryptographic mechanism are exaggerated, and the related risks are known and manageable, and do not constitute a reason to sell Bitcoin.

Hayes emphasized the importance of wallet address management, mentioning practices such as avoiding address reuse and adopting newer signature types. He does not regard quantum risk as a catalyst that currently requires panic selling. The above content is Hayes's personal judgment and does not mean that these practices can eliminate all quantum computing risks.
