Tether makes a strategic investment in AIsa, positioning itself in AI agent payments and programmable money.

PANews October 15 news, Tether Capital announced a strategic investment in AIsa. AIsa is dedicated to enabling AI agents to access and pay for data, software, and computing services. By integrating access and payment into a single platform, developers can connect AI models, APIs, software tools, and computing resources through a single interface, with usage billed in fiat currency or stablecoins. Enterprises can set spending limits, thereby eliminating the hassle of opening separate accounts and subscriptions for each service.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that as AI agents take on more work, people need ways to both grant access to services and control spending, and AIsa is building this infrastructure. AIsa says its platform has already run more than 250,000 agents and processed over 100 million transactions. The network provides access to more than 5,000 APIs, skills, and models through a single key, with pay-per-call pricing.

This investment continues Tether's recent efforts. It previously invested in NEURA Robotics and plans to integrate WDK and QVAC, with the same goal of giving users greater control over their funds and intelligent services.
