Analysis: US midterm elections unlikely to sway markets; AI and Fed policy are more critical

PANews, October 14 news: Mike Bell, head of market strategy at RBC BlueBay Asset Management, said in a report that the U.S. midterm elections in November are unlikely to become a major driver of financial markets, although the elections may trigger political uncertainty and controversy. He pointed out that the current main drivers of U.S. financial markets include AI-related trades, the aftereffects of U.S. foreign policy, the resulting inflationary pressures, and the Federal Reserve's policy response to these changes.
