Michael Saylor: Bitcoin will return to $100,000, MSCI should reconsider index rules

PANews, October 14 news, according to Bloomberg, Bitcoin treasury company Strategy co-founder and chairman Michael Saylor said that Bitcoin has bottomed out at slightly below $60,000, is currently recovering to the $80,000 range, and is expected to continue rising and break through $100,000 again. In the coming years, Bitcoin's annual growth rate will reach 20% to 30%, and Strategy will also continue to increase its Bitcoin holdings and fund purchases by issuing more securities.

In addition, Michael Saylor also criticized MSCI's proposed new index rules, saying that the relevant rules may exclude companies that create value primarily by accumulating assets rather than operating businesses from global equity indexes, and Strategy may therefore be removed. He believes that MSCI's move shows bias against digital assets and hopes the institution will reconsider. MSCI is expected to announce its decision this Friday. JPMorgan estimated in November last year that if Strategy is removed, as much as $2.8 billion in funds could face outflow risk.
