Rome announces native token ROME mechanism, 50% of protocol revenue to be used for token reserves or buybacks.

PANews October 13 news: Rome Protocol has announced the mechanism for its native token ROME, which will be used for Gas fees on its own chain after launch. 50% of the protocol's transaction fee revenue will be retained in ROME or used for open market buybacks, and included in a reserve that will not be sold. Rome connects EVM applications with Solana, supports Solidity contracts in atomically calling Solana programs, and is already running on the mainnet. This is not a token sale announcement, and no valuation, issuance, or listing date has been disclosed yet; supply and timing arrangements will be disclosed separately.
