PANews reported on September 25 that Bitget CEO Gracy Chen issued a statement stating that it is cooperating with independent third-party experts Mandiant and SlowMist to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident. In addition, Bitget Wallet is a self-hosted wallet that runs on a completely separate and independent infrastructure from Bitget Exchange and was not affected by this incident. Functions such as recharge and transaction rewards on the Bitget Exchange platform continue to operate normally. The currency withdrawal function is temporarily suspended during the completion of additional security verification; currency withdrawal will be resumed as soon as possible after it is confirmed that it can be safely restored.
