In an interview with Turkey’s Fintechtime, Bybit CEO Ben Zhou said that looking back at the 2025 Bybit attack, one of the problems was the use of third-party service providers and the centralized storage of too many assets in the third-party related system. Since then, Bybit has comprehensively adjusted its security policy and shifted to a "Zero Trust" model. At the same time, it has dispersed wallets into different structures and strengthened the isolation of local and global businesses to reduce the risk of a single attack affecting a large number of assets. Zhou also said that Bybit hopes to develop its Turkish business into a "super application" covering crypto transactions, payments, global transfers and more investment products in the future.
