PANews October 20 news: Google Ads policy announcements show that, starting from October 21, 2026, advertisers running ads for cryptocurrency exchanges and software wallets targeting the UAE must obtain a license from one of the designated local regulatory authorities and pass Google certification. Acceptable licensing authorities include the Capital Market Authority (CMA), the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA), and the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). Advertisers must also comply with other local legal requirements, and the policy applies to all accounts worldwide that run such ads targeting the UAE.
