PANews reported on October 5 that according to The Block, surveys by Visa and CoinShares show that Asia-Pacific consumers are increasingly interested in stablecoin payments, and wealthy investors in the United States and Europe already hold a considerable amount of crypto assets. Visa's survey shows that 46% of Asia-Pacific respondents are likely to use stablecoins in the next five years, and 16% have used them in the past 12 months; 66% understand stablecoins, but only 6% can accurately understand how they operate, and 38% of non-users are worried about fraud. A CoinShares survey shows that most wealthy investors in seven markets already hold digital assets, ranging from 54% in Sweden to 70% in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany, with allocations concentrated in about 10% of the investment portfolio. 80% of digital asset investors hold Bitcoin, at least 85% of existing investors plan to increase exposure in 2026, and only 6% are primarily positioned as short-term traders.
