Analysis: The hacker behind this attack on Binance's hot wallet is suspected to be the same group as the previous Kelp DAO attacker.

PANews October 30 news: According to monitoring by on-chain analyst Ai Yi, the hacker who attacked Binance's hot wallet in this incident is suspected to be the same group as the previous Kelp DAO attacker. Thirty minutes ago, the Binance hacker transferred all 74.56 million ARB to the address 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000DA0, which is labeled by Arkham as Kelp DAO Hacker. These tokens have not yet been transferred or sold. Kelp DAO was attacked on April 18 this year, losing approximately $292 million in rsETH, and at the time the community speculated that it was the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group.

Ai Yi issued a correction, stating: After verification, 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000DA0 is a vanity address matching DAO characteristics that the Arbitrum Security Council specifically used as a multisig or temporary custody address to handle the frozen assets in the Kelp DAO theft incident at that time; this operation should not be a hacker action, but merely confusion caused by an on-chain Entity.
