The person in charge of Doubao PR denies the rumors of layoffs and it is just an organizational adjustment of the division of labor.

PANews reported on September 24 that there were previous reports that Doubao’s general session team had experienced staff reductions. After the relevant content was spread, claims of “Doubao layoffs” and “the dialogue team was cut in half” appeared on the Internet. It was even reported that internal employees lamented that “Doubao is being marginalized.” In response to the claims circulating on the Internet, Liu Xing, the head of Doubao's public relations, issued a statement saying that the relevant information is untrue. In fact, it is just an organizational adjustment of the division of labor.

Liu Xing introduced that part of the functions of the Doubao General Session team were split into the Doubao trading and Doubao work teams, and the relevant personnel were moved there accordingly. Many employees are still engaged in conversation experience-related work. For example, trading also optimizes the trading dialogue experience. The team has fewer than 50 people, and the division of labor adjustment involves 11 people. Three of them resigned. It emphasized that statements such as "200 million bean bag layoffs" and "dialogue team cut in half" mentioned in some self-media reports are untrue.
