According to Foresight News, according to Xinhua News Agency, the Digital RMB International Operation Center stated that after the first batch of 26 financial institutions signed contracts, as of the end of September, an additional 39 domestic and foreign financial institutions had submitted applications, intending to access the "Digital RMB" cross-border settlement comprehensive service platform (CBETS) as direct participants.

Facing the field of cross-border trade, CBETS has launched a new trade settlement and investment and financing service "CBETS LIFT", focusing on cross-border trade settlement and investment and financing; for cross-border exchanges of people, the overseas version of the Digital RMB App supports mobile phone numbers from more than 210 countries and regions to register and open wallets. Overseas users in China can realize online and offline consumption in all scenarios after recharging. At the same time, the visual hard wallet and the two-card integrated hard wallet take into account the credit card swiping habits of overseas users and support multiple operations such as QR code scanning, touch and balance inquiry.

In addition, under the central bank payment system interconnection mode, CBETS has achieved interconnection with the Hong Kong Fast Payment System (FPS) and the Laos National Payment Network (LAPNet), and has piloted support for cross-border payment of digital renminbi in Singapore.
