PAX Gold（PAXG）是一种资产支持型代币，其中一枚代币应代表一金衡盎司存放在专业金库设施中的伦敦合格交割金条。任何持有PAXG的人都拥有由Paxos Trust Company托管的该黄金的所有权。由于PAXG代表实物黄金，其价值直接与其实物黄金的实时市场价值挂钩。
PAXG使客户既能享有特定金条实际实物所有权的益处，又能获得数字资产的速度与流动性。客户能够对实物金条拥有部分所有权。在Paxos平台上，客户可以快速高效地将其代币转换为分配黄金、非分配黄金或法定货币（反之亦然），从而降低其面临的结算风险。PAXG还可在Paxos的itBit交易所进行交易。PAXG也将可在其他加密资产交易所、钱包、借贷平台以及加密生态系统内的其他场所使用。
任何时候，PAXG持有者只需在Paxos.com/paxgold的PAXG查询工具中输入其以太坊钱包地址，即可查询其金库中黄金的序列号、价值和物理特征。
