PANews reported on September 24 that according to The Information, two people familiar with the matter revealed that DeepSeek CEO Liang Wenfeng disclosed at a recent investor meeting that DeepSeek’s annual revenue has exceeded US$1 billion, more than double the less than US$500 million a few months ago. After the price increase last month, the API call fees for DeepSeek's various models were increased by 2.3 to 4.5 times, but Liang Wenfeng told investors that the price increase did not trigger a loss of customers. The company plans to complete its second round of financing by the end of October, with a target of raising 50 billion yuan (about 7.5 billion U.S. dollars) and a valuation of 500 billion yuan.
